First Woman to Clear a National Finals Course

In 2016, Jessie cleared stage 1 of the national finals course in Las Vegas, in the year with the fewest total clears in the history of the show. She cleared with the 5th fastest time of the men.

Two days after clearing stage one, Jessie was selected to represent Team USA in the international competition: USA vs. The World. She was the first and only woman to participate on any team in the history of the competition at this time. She scored the point for Team USA by beating both the men in her heat, and the team went on to win the entire competition.

Placed 2nd Among the Men

In American Ninja Warrior, the women compete on the same obstacles with the same rules and distances as the men. In season 8, Jessie placed 2nd among the men, which is still the highest any woman has ranked overall as of season 16. To date, she is still the only woman to place in the top six overall competitors, having ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th twice, 5th twice, and sixth in various seasons

Season 16

In the most recent season and Jessie’s 10th year competing, she hit the buzzer on the qualifying course, and placed 4th among the men.

Sasuke 36 & 38

The original Ninja Warrior “Sasuke” has been airing in Japan for over 25 years and 41 seasons. Jessie is one of the few Americans who has had the opportunity to compete with the legends! In season 36, she became only the 2nd woman ever to clear stage 1, and the first woman to clear stage 2. In season 38, she cleared stages one and two again, and to date, remains the only woman to clear stage 2.

ANW Season 12

ANW Season 11

After taking almost a year off training to shoot Wonder Woman 1984, Jessie came back to hit the buzzer in qualifiers. There were no finishers on the semi-finals course, but Jessie got to the ninth obstacle with the third fastest time, and made it farther than any of the men!

ANW Season 10

In 2018, Jessie took a weekend off from shooting Wonder Woman 1984 in the UK to fly back and compete in Miami. She hit a buzzer in qualifying, and placed 5th overall at semi-finals.

ANW Season 9

Only one man was able to clear the semi-finals course in Daytona, FL. Jessie fell just a few feet short of hitting the final buzzer, and placed 4th overall.

On Ninja Warrior Germany's Four Nations Special, Jessie was the only woman to hit a buzzer. The points she scored contributed to another big win for Team USA.


ANW Season 7

Because an ACL surgery sidelined her from stunts for a year, she decided to build an “armour of muscles” to prevent future injuries and quadrupled her upper body strength to prepare for ninja warrior. One year after the surgery, she placed 6th among the men in Los Angeles City Finals.
